GREAT JOB!!!!!The  2010 Chicago Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure has come to a close.

The TAG Team joined over 2000 people for yet another magnificent walk. The walkers from the Chicago 3 Day worked nonstop to raise 4.2 million dollars for breast cancer research. GREAT JOB WALKERS. This years walk took us along the northshore, into the welcoming suburbs of Mt. Prospect, Arlington Hts., and Des Plaines, finishing along the lake front into Soldier Field.  A huge "Thank You" to all those that supported the TAG Team through their generous donations. Pictures (many of them) still to come. If you would like to order a "Remembering the 2010 3 Day presented by the TAG Team" DVD please contact Jen Raus at jgarbe10@comcast.com

Why We Walk

The T.A.G. Team began it's quest for a cure for breast cancer 8 years ago.  The team captain, Christy Ulrich, watched as her best friend, Tracey Anne Geils, battled breast cancer only to have lost her fight on August 10, 2003 at the age of 33.  Tracey left behind a loving family including her husband Mark and 3 year old daughter, McKenna.

It was Christy's promise to her best friend that started The T.A.G. Team. The T.A.G. Team will walk every year until a cure is found.

The T.A.G. Team walks in honor of those who currently battle this disease, those who have won the battle, and those who have lost the fight.

The ladybug is the official mascot of The T.A.G. Team.  As Tracey was battling her illness she would often see three ladybugs on her window sill; she felt the three ladybugs represented her and her two aunts who also lost their fight to cancer.
